Meet the Founders
SNAPup! was founded by longtime friends and Newport Beach natives, Jillian Griffin and Kristen Hatfield, who share a passion for beautiful homes, thoughtfully designed spaces, and building meaningful connections within their community.
The idea for SNAPup! was born from seeing friends and family repeatedly give away, donate, or store beautiful furnishings during moves, remodels, and life transitions. While these pieces still had significant value, there wasn’t a simple, trusted, and elevated way to sell them locally. They knew there had to be a better way to connect quality furnishings with buyers who appreciate great design.
With backgrounds in sales, technology, operations, and design, Jillian and Kristen saw an opportunity to create something different. Together, they launched SNAPup! as a modern resale platform designed to simplify the process of buying and selling furnishings directly from homes. By combining strategic pricing, curated presentation, and personalized service, they created a platform focused on current, design-forward pieces while helping sellers maximize value and buyers discover furnishings they love.
What started organically through friendships and community connections quickly grew into a trusted marketplace serving Orange County, Los Angeles, and San Diego. Today, SNAPup! is known for its curated inventory, personalized approach, and seamless experience for both buyers and sellers.
